I graduated with a biology degree, terrible grades, and a job in medical device sales. I hated it. I dreamed of moving to NYC and working in tech.

I also won Microsoft's Platinum Club award for being in the top 1% of salespeople at the company. That came with a trip to Hawaii and dinner with Satya Nadella. Pretty cool, right?!
After starting at Microsoft, I began creating content on LinkedIn. At first it was chaotic. I wrote posts the moment inspiration struck, then got stuck on the next idea. My answer? You guessed it. Another system.
My content system took me from 3,000 followers to 1.4M+ today. My writing has been featured by LinkedIn News, Forbes, Business Insider, Wired, Inc. and more.
Shortly after joining Microsoft, I started my own business as a side hustle. I grew it that way for 4 years before going full time in 2020.
Over the next 5 years I scaled it from $189K in total revenue to $4.3M+, with a team of 5 at our peak. Every dollar of that growth was driven by systems: sales, fulfillment, content and people management.
